Forgive me, Jesus, for being distracted

You are my first love; be my current love; my forever love

I want to want you more….

I want to want you more!

I get so caught up in earthly matters, and I get plagued with negative emotions as a result

But you, you are my King of peace, and it is in you I delight!

The joy you bring me is indescribable

The happiness you give me is wonderful and without compare

I do not want to forget you

For I would only be forgetting my life

I do not want to forget you, Jesus, my Love, my King, you are my God

I commit myself to you

Forgive me for the times I put others before you

Why is it so easy to fall into idolatry?

It is too easy to worship someone else and be occupied in thought of them

Jesus, you are my love!

Bring my focus back, God, help me

I am lost without you

I am useless without you

It is you that gives me purpose

You are my delight

You have called me by name

Your love is the best thing in all the universe

As I remember you, my Love, my Hope, my Destiny, Jesus

Yes, as I remember you, I remember the pleasure of your love and presence

I am consumed with passion over you

I am zealous for you

I want you more than any man on this earth

I want you more than the glory that is offered on this earth

You are my glory

You are the one I rejoice in and the one who is always there for me

How could I forget?

My mother, my father, my friends, my neighbors, and past lovers have all failed me and broken

my heart

They left me alone and did not care for me

But you were always there for me

Truly you have kept your words, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”

Because you have kept your promises towards me, I will seek you and follow you

Because of your love I lift you up

There is no one like you!

You are great and mighty to save

Everyone will see you on that Day and they will be filled with fear because you are God

No one compares to you

You are God! Yes, Hallelujah!

You are The Mighty God, the One and Only

Forgive me and help me to be worthy of you

You are the one I love and praise
