Kingdom in Mind

Melting; wild flower on the wall.

You don't know me at all

World your cruel in your intent

Never letting me rest.

Let the light shine and rain fall

until my internal dessert blooms

(Until the desert inside me blooms)

I have no way to see it

But God's calling me to rivers

Slowly dismantle

My fragile heart

Pull back the layers

His words

Her curses

Been put on me.

Walk me past the graves

Dead dreams all my blinded eyes could see.

From ashes to an empty tomb

That's the Kingdom I seek

Being birthed within me

Yeah, one day soon I'll go back.

Where my Jesus freed me

Shake the cage

be his hands and feet

Speak and chains melt

watch as another soul eats

Utterly wrecked

By divinity

A war for the ages

Front row seat

to history.
